Luckily I have not had any problems with selling shrimp yet but now that I'm selling more and more shrimp, I have decided to set up a shipping policy. Well here it goes.....
Priority Mail(10$)-shipping within California will come with a live arrival guarantee but outside of California there is no guarantee. I have shipped shrimp numerous times in CA and out of CA and still have not had a DOA yet. They will be shipped out every Monday or Tuesday and sometimes Wednesdays.
In the case of DOA, a clear picture of the dead shrimp in its original package is required within 2 hours of arrival for a refund. The refund will not include the shipping costs paid, only the money for the shrimp itself will be refunded.
Express Mail(35$)-I have not done this before but since everyone else guarantees live arrival with express, I assume there is a very minimal chance of DOA if Express Mail is used. Therefore, I will also guarantee live arrival with express mail. I don't have boxes for shipping shrimp via express mail but I will be ordering them soon.
In the case of DOA, a clear picture of the dead shrimp in its original package is required within 2 hours of arrival for a refund. The refund will not include the shipping costs paid, only the money for the shrimp itself will be refunded.
All Shrimp will be shipped in a kordon breather bag with less than 30 shrimp per bag. I will also throw in some moss or other plants for the shrimp to hold on to during shipment. The kordon breather bag is then placed in a well insulted box and brought to the nearest postal office on the same day for shipping.
